Cookie Policy

Last updated: 12 October 2026

This page explains browser storage and the optional Google Analytics service used on myfrida.com.

Your choice comes first

Google Analytics is off by default. Its Google tag is not loaded until you choose “Accept analytics” or enable analytics and save your choices. “Reject analytics” leaves it off. Closing the settings window or browsing the website is not consent.

Essential preference storage

tf_frida_cookie_consent_v1 is first-party local storage, saved in your browser by My Frida. It remembers the consent version, your analytics choice, the time of the choice and its expiry. It does not store your name, email address or an advertising identifier.

Your choice is remembered on this device for 180 days. If it expires, or you clear browser storage, you will be asked again. The website remains accessible if you reject analytics or if your browser blocks storage.

Optional analytics

With your permission, Google Analytics 4 receives information about page visits, website interactions and browser/device characteristics to help us understand how the website is used. The service is provided by Google. This setup does not send contact-form contents or add a user ID.

  • _ga distinguishes browsers for audience measurement.
  • _ga_ZK73WXHRVT maintains Analytics session information for this website.

These are first-party cookies placed by Google’s tag after analytics consent. Their configured lifetime on this website is 180 days, without refreshing the expiry on each visit. Browser restrictions may shorten the duration. Cookie duration is separate from the retention settings of the Analytics account.

Advertising storage, Google Signals and advertising personalisation are disabled in this implementation. No advertising pixel has been added as part of this setup.

Changing or withdrawing consent

The “Cookie settings” button at the bottom-left of every page reopens your preferences. Turn analytics off and save, or select “Reject analytics”. This removes the website’s Analytics cookies. If the tag has already loaded, the page reloads so it cannot keep running. Your updated choice also applies to other open myfrida.com tabs.

WordPress administration

Authorised staff who sign in may receive WordPress authentication, security and administration-preference cookies. These support staff access rather than public visitor analytics; their duration depends on the session and sign-in settings.

Privacy and questions

For information about personal data and contact details, please read our existing Privacy Policy or use the My Frida contact page. Google Analytics may involve processing by Google outside your country; Google’s privacy information explains its processing arrangements.
